Why did you join the program?

I’d done a couple programs, but my weight loss stalled over the summer. I wanted to restart my weight loss and end the year feeling better than ever.

What is the biggest positive change you’ve noticed?

I didn’t get sick of doing the program before it was over, which I was nervous about. I found ways/meals that will be easy to stick to once the program is over that will help keep me on track.

What are you most proud of?

I have a hard time seeing and accepting the positive changes. I finally admitted I had to go shopping about halfway through. I was looking at larges, and my sister gave me a medium and said, “just try it”. I thought there was no way, but to my surprise, it fit. Now, another 5 weeks later, it’s getting a little big! I finished strong and it shows!

Share your journey in 5-6 sentences on how this program has transformed your life?

I have a ton more confidence; not only in how I look and feel, but in being able to eat food (even food that’s not good for you) and not feel like I’ve failed. I tend to crave sweets, but that desire was significantly diminished during the challenge. I found that instead of having 2 or 3 cookies, I can have one bite of my kid’s and be satisfied.

Doing a program over a holiday is especially tough, but I found that having smaller portions of the foods I love is just as tasty as eating some of everything, and I feel much better afterwards too!

Stop being so hard on yourself and just do it. You are so much stronger than you think!
