Why did you join the program?

As a mother to two, it can be difficult to prioritize yourself. The constant rush of life is overwhelming: running around, doing laundry, grocery shopping.
Dropping the kids off at school, picking them up, packing their lunches. The list seems endless.
Amidst all these tasks, it’s easy to lose yourself in the whirlwind of responsibilities.

What is the biggest positive change you’ve noticed?

By far the biggest change is my relationship with food. There is no more starving all day to realize at 8pm I haven’t eaten at all and then binge on everything, go to bed, and repeat the next day. I have been more intentional about when and what I eat. Using food to fuel my body and give me energy.

What are you most proud of?

This program has brought some of the best and worst days, both mentally and physically.
Physically, I worked out on minimal sleep, food, and little rest when my kids were sick and ran myself into the ground to pure exhaustion.
Physically, I worked out on minimal sleep, food, and little rest when my kids were sick and ran myself into the ground to pure exhaustion.
Mentally, I used to fight with myself and convince myself I wasn’t capable of doing any of this. In the beginning, when I had a rough day, I’d say “see I told you you couldn’t.”
Now I trust my body, give myself grace, and try again tomorrow. I know I’m capable.
Every day can’t be my best day, and that’s okay – which is something I never would have been able to say before.

Share your journey in 5-6 sentences on how this program has transformed your life?

This program has made me realize that food isn’t the enemy.

That our bodies need food to thrive and function optimally.

It has taught me how to portion and find foods that make me feel my best.

I feel in control of my food and choices instead of feeling like they control me.

Overall, I feel better about trusting myself to eat intuitively to make sure my body can function to the best of its abilities.

If you could give your past-self a message...

These next twelve weeks are going to fly by even when it feels like time is standing still.

Take a second to breathe.

You’re going to get out of your rut – give yourself grace, listen to your body, and trust the process.

You have control over who you become and the choices you make.

I know it’s terrifying to try and overhaul what feels like “everything” in twelve weeks. Embrace the discomfort – it’s not as terrifying as you once thought. In fact, it’s pretty beautiful on the other side.
